Marie Doyle
Marie Doyle's Family
Patriotic
The Doyle Family hosts an annual neighborhood Fourth of July Parade in Harwich.  The parade recognizes the contributions of the many men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.  Every family member dresses in character and walks through the neighborhood; what started as a Doyle family parade around the neighborhood has turned into a community event where other families look forward to participating in this summer celebration.

Jack Doyle, Marie Doyle's father, is a proud veteran of the Korean WarJack served in the Marine Corps and proudly participates in the parade every year.

Supportive
"Giving back" is highly valued by the Doyle family.  Marie’s nephew, Michael, is a cancer survivor, and therefore, the family gratefully participates in the Dana Farber Walk.  In addition, they orchestrate fundraisers annually for the Jimmy Fund, Children's Hospital and Dana Farber. Community service is also encouraged by this family, and this has resulted in Doyle events such as visiting the Veteran's Hospital to sing carols and hosting children in need for the holidays.

Fun
Marie and her  family are fun!  Whether on the Cape or at home, the Doyles have an open door and a "do drop in" policy.  With a total of eight siblings, there is always someone to visit.   The Doyles love tag football, riding the big waves, boating, clamming, tubing, skiing, frisbee, baseball, the Red Sox, Scrabble, Scategories, the drive-in, swimming, a game of soccer, dancing and more. Marie Doyle loves to have fun with her family.

Loving
If one sees Marie Doyle with her nieces and nephews, one understands how deeply Marie loves and understands children. Auntie Marie is not only the educational aunt discussing homework, good books and taking the kids on trips to Washington D.C., she is also the aunt who plays games, goes snow tubing, rides the go-carts, buys the snacks for the drive-in and hosts the sleep-overs.
